Wild Birds Picture

Many people think that wild birds are those other than garden birds, like grouse, pheasant, hawks, harriers, etc. In fact all birds are wild, although we do feel the need to capture and cage certain breeds as pets, like parrots and budgerigars. A number of raptors classified as birds of prey are kept in captivity for displaying at shows and hunting purposes.

We have a number of artists who specialise in painting wildlife and birds in particular. Michael Demain our most prolific bird artist, has a large portfolio of wild bird pictures, from a range of well-known garden birds such as the chaffinch, greenfinch, blue tit and sparrow, to the more uncommon goldfinch, woodlark and bullfinch.

Michael also has a wide range of birds of prey pictures - barn owls, goshawks, kestrels and many more.
